Healx CEO meets HM Queen Elizabeth II

Healx attended a Pitch@Palace event at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Pitch@Palace is an initiative established by The Duke of York to accelerate the growth of startups by providing network ing opportunities with investors, influencers and potential clients.

Tim Guilliams, Chief Executive Officer of Healx, said, “It was an honour and a privilege to meet the Queen in person, as well as Prince Andrew, Duke of York. We’re grateful to both Prince Andrew and his Chief of Staff, Amanda, for their help accelerating our growth by making introductions for potential customers, partnerships or investment opportunities.”

Healx was recognised for advancing treatments for rare diseases using their drug repurposing platform, which combines machine learning and biological data analysis pipelines with drug development expertise. Healx were selected as finalists of the Pitch@Palace programme in 2016 to present their business at St James’ Palace to HRH The Duke of York and an audience of judges from the world of entrepreneurship, technology, media and investment.
