Write my abstract!

Thanks for your interest in our write-me-an-abstract tool. We’ve now decommissioned the infrastructure that ran the abstract generation, but good news - you can run the same code yourself using our published GPT-2 models available here!

We began working towards applying OpenAI’s GPT-2 to biomedical text generation with the release of their 774M parameter model. We fine-tuned it on half a million biomedical abstracts from PubMed and quickly realised just how well it could generate abstracts of its own.
